I attended St.Helens hospital today for results of scans that I had last year. I have got two lumps on my forehead which are getting bigger, also a fatty lump on my back, this is the size of a small orange.I was told that six months ago the nhs stopped performing surgery on non life threatening lumps.
I am very concerned about this as when I asked how big will these lumps have to be before the nhs will perform the surgery to remove them, I was told that no matter how big the lumps grow the nhs will not pay for surgery.
