What I liked

Staff in EAU and critical care saved my son's life... no question! We were allowed to stay with our son 24/7. The staff were brilliant, both caring for our son and in their regard for us.

What could be improved

The number of staff on duty in the general care ward.

Anything else?

The car parking fees are extortionate! Once a patron has reached the £5 tarriff for all day parking, they should be allowed to leave and return on the same day without further charge. In a day it was easy for us to clock up £15 parking fees!! This really needs review.ChargesPatient careCar ParkCritical careWard

Thank you for taking the time to comment on our hospital. Your positive feedback will be passed on to the staff in the Emergency Assessment Unit and Critical Care Unit.

We make every effort to ensure our car parking charges are kept as low as possible. Frequent visitors can make use of a value card scheme, which offers reduced parking charges over a seven day period at a cost of £12.
