"A resnable experience not bad not good."

About: Frimley Park Hospital (Frimley)

What I liked

I was in Frimley Park for about a month firstly on F3 and then on F4 I am under a consultant for my feet.

I have had to have surgery to my toes.

I would like to thank staff nurse on F3 he was wonderful and also two staff members on F4 who were very supportive.

The consultant is one of the best and gave me real support and understanding I would like to thank the anithertist who had the thoughsight to give me the general anesthetic on this occasion it was needed but I am still not conftable about having one and I make it clear here to whoever reads this that there are concerns for me in the future with regards to this side of the op.

I would like to thank the 2 OTs for their support.

What could be improved

I felt the care was not consistant nor fluied I could have done with more emotional support as I am physiclally diasabled and paritailly sighted.

I felt that the general anesthetic is sort of pushed on paitents and I feel this anesthetic is not good for me as the pain killer simulated a panic attack I now have these but this has nothing to do with what happend at Frimley

Visiting times could be a bit more fleiable as

time some people cannot make an evening visit.

I was also critisized for brining in too many CDs and books by the GSL driver on the ambulance due to the nature of my disability I cannot watch the TV as the screen was and is difficult to see.

I would also like to say that I like to be in a main ward and not in a room on my own which I was all of the time on F4 I need human contact not all the time but I like to see what is going on.

Small criticisium why did they prescribe Ibroprophin and Paracetamal together the Ibrophothin gave me problems with my kidneys.

And I said about this and never got any help.

If whoever reads this could certainly look into the matters I would be most grateful as I will be coming back in sometime around April for some more

Anything else?

See above but main issues are the op and my after care.

As I have mentioned the consultant was wonderful and would prefer it if I in future could deal with him and his team I found the house surgon a bit interfering.

It is not all doom and gloom for Frimley as a whole you have a good hospital but as most school reports would go You could do better see points made during comments.
