"Still awaiting results 3 months after biopsy "

I attended the QE Hospital 3 months ago to have a skin biopsy on my face. On the day I was treated very well be the clinicians. However, I am still awaiting the results. I have phoned the hospital on several occassions and today I was told that it probably it is not an emergency and that it is negative and refused to give me the results. They did say that they would send the results (finally) to my GP.

The reason given for the delay was that the QE is short of staff which is not good enough. I am watting to hear if the thing on my face is benign or for that matter malignant. They could have told me the results given the delay.
