"The nurse drew a picture for me"

About: Royal Manchester Children's Hospital

(as the patient),

My nurses are very helpful. I see different people, they're all nice. I don't worry about coming to the hospital, it would be great if there were books for me, a lot of things are too little. I bring my own books. I am 8 years old.

The nurse once drew me a picture to explain my body for me, which was good. It helped me to see what was going on and it made me feel better.

Thanks for your comments.

I am meeting with the play therapist next week. He is in charge of toys and books for outpatients and I will ask him if it's possible to get some books for people of your age.

We are pleased that the nurse was able to explain things to you so well and that it made you feel happier!
