Staff/doctors need to know how to talk to patiants and respect the reasons why they are there.

I had an appointment today 5/1/2011 with the infertility clinic and it was my first time at this hospital. I was very disapointed by the lack of respect. I am a big women and always have been but I felt like the consultant I saw doesn't understand big people. I felt totaly disciminated against and not offered any help or advice. I wasnt told much about what i had the appointment for in the first place but just told that there was no help untill I lost weight. I was asked by the consultant if I really wanted a baby. Well yes thats why I had the appointment in the first place, not to be told I'm too fat to have a baby. My chance to be a mum feels like its been shattered by one doctor. Thanks very much for not making me feel good about myself. Fab job you have telling people they cant have their dreams.AppointmentsConsultantsDoctors
