"Mental health should be brought into focus"

About: Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust / Adult mental health Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust / Older people's mental health

(as a service user),

I think mental health services, especially on the Lincoln Hospital site, need to be brought into focus. Mental health services should be recognised around the country. I don't access many services, I just get in touch with whoever I need to as and when at the Peter Hodgkinson Centre.

I'd like mental health services, and elderly services, to be recognised as more important. I also don't like that prisoners are mixed up with mental health patients when they're treated or in the way services are sorted out. Is it good for them to lump prisoners in with people with mental health problems? I don't think It is going to help with stigma.
