"Had to chase to staff to get medication on time"

About: University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust

(as the patient),

I constantly had to chase staff to get my medication at the right time.

It felt like some staff did not like the symptoms of parkinsons disease and did not like to be told that they were not giving out the correct tablets at the right time.

Medication were only given when drug trolley came around.

I found the cleanliness of the area of the hospital I was in very poor and I feel like the lack of care I received was unbelievable.

Thank you for providing feedback on your care whilst with the Trust. We do take on board all comments both positive and negative and I have raised your concerns with my colleagues as something to be aware of but without further details on your stay and which ward you were on, it is hard to provide more feedback.

We would welcome the chance to discuss this further, can I ask that contact our PALS (Patient Advice and Liaison Service) by phone 0800 028 4203 or by email PALS@uhcw.nhs.uk or in person through the Help Desk at University Hospital, Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) 9am -12.30pm and 1pm – 5pm.
