"I am a bag of nerves and dread going back"

About: Royal Bournemouth General Hospital

(as the patient),

At the end of november i was a patient in acute admissions ward at bournemouth hospital,at about 7pm a young patient was admitted, who promptly went out the ward and "went shopping" with his girl friend,he returned with her just as the bell was sounded, for visitors to leave, which all did except his girl friend,he was reminded about the rules but ignored them, instead of telling them off,a nurse even offered them coffee, they then left,at 10-30pm he came back,as we were all trying to get some sleep, having had 3 bad nights,he switched on tv (on speakers),started making phone calls, then had phone calls coming in,despite us patients complaining, staff would do nothing, and myself personally was told to "shut up"and go to bed. I am 76 disabled with 2 lots of cancer, and was due to have extra stents put into my heart.

The next morning i made a complaint to the complaints manager. From then on, as my wife and i were leaving to go home, I felt we were treated terribly by the staff, bullied, and shouted at. i am absolutely a bag of nerves, and dread going back.
