(as a relative),

I just wanted to thank the staff in wards 20 and 67at the Southern General for their caring and expertise when looking after my father during his last days earlier this year. I work for the NHS, ravaged by sniping from the media and interference by politicians, but the care, compassion, and common sense shown by the nurses, doctors, and consultants was a reaffirmation of my faith in the system. Thank you to everyone for making a most difficult time bearable for all the family.
