"missed appointments dispute"

About: Walsall Teaching PCT

(as other),

I am the mother of 2 years and 4 months old boy and 2 months old girl, At the beginning of Nov we misunderstood first appointment whether they come to our house or in the clinic, so they so they make another appointment for a week later for the doctor's 6-8 week review to the baby then another appointment for immunisations a couple of days after that for my 2 months old baby.

The nurse said that we waiting outside in 15 minutes then the receptionist said they can't give the paracetamol prescription that time because the doctor is not there she if it's ok if husband back tommorow morning. she made an appointment for 9:30am to colect the prescription, that day the baby crying always and have fever. i let to my husband go back to the clinic that evening they give him a prescription paracetamol to my daughter we thought everything is ok. he can't back there again in the morning because we got already the prsecriptions.

Yesterday we recieve a letter that we missed the appointments, my husband going to the clinic to explained but they not listening. i am worried because we missed a 2 according the surgery and maybe 3 according to them. my son had an appointment also in nov, we all family is there. According to them if you missed 3 appointments we find another doctor i am so worried now ...i hope u can help us ...thank you

Again, thank you for raising your concerns. I am not clear from your latest comments what the current situation is regarding your registration with the Practice. I am also not clear whether you have now been able to sort out the arrangements for your child's immunisation or whether you still have concerns. If you feel we may be able to assist then please do contact us by telephone on 01922 618358 or by e-mail to Customer.Care@walsall.nhs.uk so that we can gather more details to enable us to advise you.
