My son suffered deep cuts when a Yorkshire water access cover collapsed as we were walking over it. The friendly staff at David Lloyd, where we were going provided initial first aid but referred us to the Bransholme Minor Injuries Unit.

The specialist nurse at Bransholme did an excellent job in cleaning the wound before closing it. It was also thoroughly checked that my son's Inoculations were up to date. An excellent service and one which obviates the need to travel to Hull.

This was a Saturday morning. It would be useful to have more centres like this.
