"Organisation could improve but staff are..."

What I liked

The staff were very friendly and helpful and efficient. I have been to this hospital a few times in the past decade for non serious health issues and have always been treated well and with respect. There is a friendly professional atmosphere which often makes me feel relaxed.

The staff do a difficult job well and I have witnessed how they have had to deal with some drunks & idiots and the staff deserve lots of praise for their efforts.

What could be improved

My only criticism is that depts do not communicate with each other as well as they should. The saying ' the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing ' applies.

Anything else?

I appreciate the wonderful care and service that I have experienced at Derriford.
