My wife was recently discharged (whilst still poorly) from QMC. We had to stop at our Drs surgery on our way home for my wife to be cleaned and patched up (literally).
Within a week she was admitted to Bassetlaw Hopsital ward C1 under the care of Dr Christopher. I would like to take this opportunity to thank her for her caring manner and for taking time out to see me to explain in laymans terms the problems my wife was suffering from. Fortunately for us she knew all about the illness my wife has.
What I admired most was her willingness to hand over my wife to a team of gastroenterologists who knew her medical history. Dr Christopher said from day one that she would only release her when either well or to a bed at QMC. She phoned re my wife's condition, even on her day off.
Also the nursing staff were cool, calm and collected. Always smiling and encouraging.
