"Fantastic staff at Tameside"

About: Tameside General Hospital / General medicine

(as the patient),

I thought the nurses, both male and female, were fantastic. They give you all the information and care that is humanly possible.

The wards were clean with a warm welcoming atmosphere. Most of the meals were nice but in rather small portions.

I also think that some of the patients think they shouldn't do anything for themselves, with a "born with self righteousness" attitude which can strain on patients and staff.

Thank you very much for your kind comments. I am pleased to learn that you found both the male and female nurses at Tameside Hospital fantastic. I am also pleased you found the wards clean and welcoming but sorry the food portions were too small – I will bring this to the attention of the relevant manager.

I hope you are now much recovered.

Best wishes
