"Smooth care at Manchester Children's"

About: Royal Manchester Children's Hospital / Paediatric surgery

(as a relative),

My son is 13 years old and we come here regularly for his care.

The outpatients is good. It's much better than in the old hospital. Sometimes there are no spaces to sit, particularly outside clinic 4.

He had an eye operation on day case - it all went very smoothly and there were no problems. He came in, got sorted and went home!

The hospital are always great if we need to cancel or rechedule an appointment and any time there is a problem they are very helpful.

Thank you for your comments.

We are delighted that you like the Outpatients in the new hospital. The hospital does try to provide as much seating as possible in Outpatients. If there isn't space outside your particular clinic then just tell one of the nurses where you'll be sitting and they will call you when it's your turn - this shouldn't be a problem.

We're also very pleased that the eye operation went well. We really appreciate all your positive comments!

Thank you.
