I ahd my third child two weeks ago in the new Midwifery Led Birthing Unit .

The rooms were amazing! Modern, clean, large, well equipped, and.. with a large , 4 leaf clover shaped birthing pool inside the room!

The midwives were very good, kind, caring, good fun and lovely. Thet have made this birth a very pleasant one ( for as far as tha'ts possible).

I have also had my two other children there, in the normal delivery suites, but despite the rooms being old, the experience was equally good.

I would like to recommend the L&D maternity ward to every expectant mother in the area!
