What I liked

My father was a patient on the Whalton Unit at Morpeth Cottage Hospital between May and August 2010. I would like to praise each and every one of the staff there, who without exception were caring, kind, thoughtful and professional throughout my father's stay.

We could not have asked for better care and after a sudden onset and serious collapse, the treatment he received was second to none. He was a patient at Wansbeck prior to admission and we credit much of his recovery to the excellent care and attention he was given at the Whalton Unit.

The staff are a credit to the NHS.
