my dad came came to ealing hospital in jan 2010 after fracturing his leg, he was operated on and after a couple of days, the nurses on ward 7south 'forgot' to discharge him, and covered it up by saying dad had asked to stay in hospital alittle longer! he unfortunately fell again in ealing hspital that night and had to be operated again, after this he contacted an infection which caused his kidneys to fail! after much protesting, arguing and refusing to leave the hosiptal dad was transferred to ICU at ealing hospital. after a week dad was alot better adnd was dischared after a month. unfortunately his leg never recovered from the 2 operations and ealing hpsital decided to do a hip replacement dad again went into the hospital in aug and had the opperation, again his kidneys failed but recovered very quickly. unfortunately dad died whilst on ward 7s, we left him happy and looking forward to coming home and thenn got a phone call at home saying dad had collapsed. when we got to the hospital. it was too late, dad had already left us. The treatment, the majority of staff at that useless hospital are absolutely pathetic, and I would never every recommend that hospital to anyone. Even after my dad went and I requestecto see my dad at the chapel of rest, i was told by someone in the PALS department that 'he was not in a good state to be seen'. I still went to see him and begged the nurse to wake dad up, I will always hate ealing hopsital for putting my dad through the useless treatments and also having to put up with rudestaff, my dad didnt deserve that
