I have always found the staff at the Manchester Road Surgery very efficient and attentive, where I have attended over the past 10-30 years. I have also had experiences at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital, where I attended an OutPatient clinic for hearing difficulties and also the cataract removal operation.
There again, I found the staff from the highest to the lowest very attentive and kind and overall service excellent.
Finally, I came to the Northern General Hospital where I spent two short periods as an InPatient being diagnosed and recovering from bowel cancer.
Here again, I found the whole staff kind and considerate and the ward was always spotlessly clean. The food was excellent with variety and was always served piping hot. In my experience, I find the NHS an excellent organization and wish it every success.
