What I liked

First visit to the diabetes centre and was very pleasently surprised - wasn't looking forward to it as I had been looked after by my local GP but the doctor was excellent and took the time to talk to me and explain what she had planned and spoke to me as an equal which is unlike some doctors I have met previously - she is definately a credit to the department and the NHS in general. The diabetic specialist nurses were also excellent. All in all a very positive experience.
