What I liked

Overall i think this a fantastic hospital and provides a valuable service to the local community.

What could be improved

Communication and decision making.

I attended A&E 5 months ago with a suspected fracture and despite having to wait 4 hours to be seen (i understand others must be prioritised) all the staff were fantastic.

My issue has been with the treatment i received in fracture clinic. My treatment has been delayed for at least five weeks because of something which was overlooked. Then i find the doctor said something totally different to my face than in the letter sent to my GP. This has delayed it even further as i was misled into believing the treatment may be unnecessary when in fact it is the only option.

I have been treated at this hospital before and haven't had a bad word to say but unfortunately it's the bad experiences that stay with you.
