"went to a&e with a bad cut on my hand ..."

About: Yeovil District Hospital

What I liked

went to a&e with a bad cut on my hand ,11 oclock at night ,it was pouring with blood ,there was no trearge nurse offered ,reception said i would have wait 3 hours ,I thought she was jokeing, there was an air of well thats it take it or leave it so i did i left.

went to an appointment for an xray ,had to waight 3/4 hour over the time then had to wait another half an hour to be told yes thats ok ,unbelievable.

ceiling pannels missing you could see the dirt and dust .

my wife had a blood test for athritis it came back as negativ ,her fingers have joints like buick drive shafts ,took her to the ease clinic the doctor he confirmed she had athritis and complications [trigger finger] 2 joints advanced .

i refused to be treated at that place i would sooner drive 50 miles to be treated ,and have .

carpark is to small ,,all of the doctors/consultants have parking the rest of us have yellow painted lines and boy have they painted those lines they have painted everything in sight

disabled people need more than 2 bays to choose from .

old school management entrenched attitudes ,no faith in that place at all:

What could be improved

the take it or leave attitude of the staff when some comes in to a&e pouring with blood loss

they dont expect to told to wait 3 hours .

if a hospital does blood tests and they say its negative ,but its obviouse to a layman what it is ,somthing is very seriously wrong
