What I liked
Scan Department and staff.
What could be improved
Midwife care is not very good, although I understand they see a large number of patients per day they need to change their tone of voice and the way they treat people coming in for their midwife care. They are meant to be people you trust and have a good relationship. But at 17 weeks pregnant I do not have a midwife. It is a very impersonal service at Queen Charlottes. Was not seen at my appointment time but 40 minutes after and had to wait in a massively overcrowded waiting room standing for the first half of my waiting time as there were no seats. The waiting room was also extremely hot and I drank 2 bottles of water and felt like I was going to collapse.
Anything else?
If this is supposedly one of the best Maternity hospitals in the U.K it does not say much for the standards of this country.
"Scan Department and staff."
