"I was out of hospital two weeks after..."

About: Royal Hampshire County Hospital

What I liked

I was out of hospital two weeks after presentation with a serious diagnosis having been investigated and operated upon. My care was exemplary. All the staff who dealt with me were kind, courteous and informative of the procedures involved. Communication between staff and with myself was open and easy. I witnessed nothing but compassion in the delivery of high tech surgical care to myself and other even more vulnerable patients on Kemp Welch Ward.

What could be improved

As far as I could tell from my own case, nothing. It is relevant to point out this superb standard of care was over a weekend.

Anything else?

A very profound thank you to the team at RHCH, the clerks and cleaners, nurses and care assistants, surgeons and anaesthetists, trustees and executive plus the behind the scene guys who provide the working environment.
