What I liked

On any visit to Melton I feel the patient really matters. The staff are always friendly and helpful from the reception staff to nursing staff and consultants. I was a patient in the Day Ward last week and have only praise for all concerned. The nursing staff went out of their way to put you at your ease which is something you do not always get in other hospitals.

What could be improved

I do not feel there is anything needing improvement.

I feel it is vital that the hospital is used to its full capacity as it so much better than having to go to the larger hospitals. I originally was referred to LRI but the Consultant suggested I have the op at Melton as it would be closer to my home and I am so pleased they did. I do attend the Ophthalmology out-patients every 6 months and the atmosphere and attitude of the staff is just the same everytime.
