"Without this service, I don't know what I'd do."

About: Knowsley NHS Walk-in Centre, Huyton North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust Whiston Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

I've been to Huyton walk-in centre several times. The last time was because my blood pressure tablets were making me feel dizzy. But I've been with a broken ankle and with pleurisy before.

Each time I've been, I've found the service to be great! I think it's much better than going to my GP. I'd sooner go there than to the GP surgery any day. It's just quicker, easier and better.

They are excellent. The staff are lovely, and they've been wonderful to me - so kind and caring.

When I went to them with pleurisy, they said I needed to go to hospital, to get an ambulance for me. The ambulance staff were lovely too. They gave me pain relief and looked after me so well. I was taken to Whiston A&E, who were fantastic! I wasn't left waiting too long, and the care was excellent.

Thanks to all the NHS in my area - you've looked after me great. I'm a pensioner, and quite isolated. Without this service, I don't know what I'd do.
