I was quite upset to read the last story on here about PTSD. I too have PTSD and my experience is the complete opposite. I feel I have been left for literally months and months with no help despite being suicidal and feeling unable to even go out of the house on my own.
If I have had treatment, I feel that if I have not shown signs of improving very quickly I have been discharged and left with no help after being told that they are not allowed to keep patients on long term anymore.
I cannot get out of the house but have had no help building up my confidence - I feel I'm just left to get on with it.
I have asked for information numerous times but have never been given anything.
I'm really pleased that some areas of Lincolnshire have got it right, but surely that standard of care should be available throughout the system?
