Waited 6 hours and counting right now to get a medical check. Confusion about what to do with me and where to send me scared me. Bedside manner wasnt amazing, but information about how long the wait would be was.

We are extremely sorry for the experience you have encountered whilst at the Hospital. We have since launched the Essence of Care Nursing Programme designed to refocus our intentions on the provision of good quality care and treatment. Work to date has covered areas such as communication, food and drink, pressure sores and the care environment.

The introduction of 'white board rounds' means that all the healthcare professionals involved in your care discuss your treatment on a daily basis so everyone is aware what is happening. We would hope that experiences such as yours are minimised as a result.
