"I have been visiting the George Eliot..."

About: George Eliot Hospital - Acute Services

What I liked

I have been visiting the George Eliot physiotheraphy department for a few months. The reception staff were always busy and sometimes there would be quite long queues, but during all of this pressure the reception staff were lovely and helpful and even had time to smile. My Physio was exceptional. They gave me all the time I needed to understand what they wanted to do and what I had to do at home to help myself. They developed the treatment as I got better and I must say I feel 100% better. On the way out I decided to ask the reception to tell the Chairman of this hospital how kind and wonderful they had been. Would you believe it, the Chairman was at the reception meeting the staff, wow. The Chairman was polite, courteous and very interested in my recent visit. They moved from behind the desk and came to talk to me face to face and didn't even know if I was going to moan. The Chairman was lovely and said they were going to see my physio's boss and tell them my comments. I hope they did. Can you believe it, to see a chairman quite happily going round the hospital, actively talking to staff and visitors. Well done, with that type of staff and a great leader you are top for me.

What could be improved

I feel very much for the reception staff and when there is a queue, it gets very congested, I can't think of anything better, but they do there best.

Anything else?

Please keep my physio in the physio department, Nuneaton needs them
