The receptionist was polite.

What could be improved

I could have seen the Psychiatrist that I was referred to and not be seen by an SHO that was about to leave.

Anything else?

I was referred to see one doctor, at the Cherrywood Clinic, Royal Oldham Hospital, on 13 July 2010. On my visit I saw the doctor. In the appointment the doctor said I live in the "wrong post code" and would have to be referred to Rochdale. NB The NHS "choices" do not seem to be working?

The doctor continued by telling me that he would write to my GP. After waiting three weeks I went to see my GP and the doctor had still NOT written to my GP and my GP was unhelpful.

I then wiated a little longer and tried to phone the doctor on 6 August 2010, when I was told that the doctor had left Cherrywood Clinic. I spoke to his secretary who did not know whether I had been referred to Rochdale or not.

It is now over six weeks since I saw the doctor, on behalf of another, and I still don't have a clue about my care. Nobody seems to give a damn about how I am feeling or if I feel suicidal again.

Getting up to date information about my "care" is proving impossible. My frustration is turning to anger and that anger is usually turned inwards in attempted suicide.

If I am wrong then do something to prove me wrong!
