What could be improved

My wife was referred to A&E by a walk in centre due to abdominal pains. After admittance a doctor quickly checked urine and general health. After another two hours a nurse took blood. It took another three hours for a doctor to check her - and then the doctor disappeared mid-examination. Finally eight hours after admittance she was called back the next morning to a surgery where she sat for another 10 hours to have a scan only for the staff to reach no conclusion. Meanwhile my wife's abdominal pain has got worse.

We are finally going private.

As i mentioned, the doctors and nurses are hard working and helpful but the administration do not know the first thing about dealing with human beings. Or management. They totally lack accountability.

Northwick Park is run by, to put it mildly, a bunch of incompetents.
