What I liked

i was admitted to the surgical unit in the treatment centre for a minor procedure and can say that the doctor and her team dealt with me very efficiently,professionally and sympathetically.the nursing staff on this ward are also exceptional and made my stay stress free

What could be improved

less car parking fee

i was admitted through a and e in april 2010 then onto ward d15 where i was looked after with exceptional care and since then have had excellent follow up appointments and had my condition dealt with very efficiently.

I am glad to hear that you have had good experiences at City Hospital and been cared for so well by our staff on each occasion.

In terms of car parking, in the last year we have halved the car parking prices for patients and visitors needing to park all day, and have a range of options for discount parking for people visiting regularly. We do not charge for 'drop off' stays of 20 minutes and we regularly check that our prices compare well with other hospitals. Unfortunately we are not in a position to further reduce cark parking charges, although patients in receipt of certain benefits can claim help with their travel costs.
