What I liked
After cutting his face badly and losing/damaging some teeth after falling on 18 July 2010, our 20 year old son attended A&E and was admitted overnight to Bailgate Ward before subsequently being assessed, treated and stitched in the Maxillo-facial Clinic 9. He subsequently re-attended this clinic at short notice to check on a few minor complications which developed and was treated relatively quickly on each occasion..
Throughout his treatment,we were very impressed with the majority of the hospital staff who were involved at various stages in A&E, Bailgate Ward and Clinic 9, as they were very considerate of both our son's and our own parental concerns about both the short-term and longer-term effects of a facial injury. The initial repair stitching was done very carefully and professionally to try and minimise scarring and both the major cuts he sustained are now healing well.
Overall, we were very happy with the service provided by Lincoln Hospital and would like to thank them for the treatment provided.
