"This morning i was admitted into A&E..."

What I liked

This morning i was admitted into A&E with severe chest pain, at the age of 34 as u can imagine i was petrified. All of the NHS staff that i encountered on every level from Paramedics through to the ward staff in both A&E and MAU did an outstanding job. Not only was i well looked after but i was kept updated on progress. Each member of staff where exeptionally understanding takin time and effort to explain to me exactly what was goin on and what the reasons where behind all the decisions with regard to my care. Once on MAU i found the nursing staff to be of the highest quality again taking time to make my stay as comfortable as possible. I would like to say a MASSIVE thanks to ALL of the staff in all the departments that i encountered. U guys to a stirling job ! A huge credit to the NHS :)

What could be improved

To be perfectly honest in the case of my admission this morning i cant really identify anything that could have been improved upon. Each of the staff encountered was absoloutly fantastic. :)

Anything else?

In the last 6 years ive had alot of contact with the NHS regarding my disabled wife. through those dealings i already had a massive respect for all in the NHS on every level. However todays experience really just solidified those feelings. As ive already said the staff where so professional, Considering my emotional state (petrified) they all did there level best not only to belay my fears and calm me down but also to quickly and effeicently treat my condition.. All in all a 100% display of how things are done right! I would be so gratefull if someone could isolate whom worked on my case in the paramedic service, A&E and MAU and please extend my heartfelt thanks and gratitude, as i really didnt have alot of opportunity to say it to them all personally
