"Fast care for my heart palpitations"

About: Garforth Medical Centre Leeds General Infirmary / Cardiology

(as the patient),

I have been diagnosed with a heart condition but flipped back into sinus rhythm in August.

I was feeling palpations and was struggling to feel my pulse, so i phoned the medical centre and spoke to receptionist Ann, who advised me to attend surgery straight away.

The nurse took my pulse and did an ECG and an ambulance was called to take me to hospital. All staff were amazing and I was well treated. I had been reluctant to call 999 myself as i was not in any pain but my heart was racing at 150bpm.

Thanks to the care i received i was fast tracked to see my Cardio Dr and was home within the week.
