"Recovery "

I was admitted to Grasmere in 2009 and spent almost 4 months in that facility. I do not have a lot of memories of my time spent there but most of my memories are of good care and attentive staff.

Medical issues during the first part of my stay were delayed in being assessed but once I was transferred to another area of the hospital for a 3-week period of treatment I received good care.

My family found communication could be tricky with the people concerned with my care often the members of the team would change.

The facility itself was very comfortable and importantly I felt very secure during my stay which helped a lot.

And the best news....I have recovered thanks to the Mental Health Team for hospital in-patient care and after-care provided on my discharge. Many thanks.
