What I liked
The friendliest of welcomes and the smiling staff from doctors to cleaners. I believe the cleaners in particular are often the weakest link but these lovely ladies take a pride in their job and it shows.Being spoken to by nurses as they passed my room and them asking if I am ok was something I have not experienced before and the consultant was equally approachable.
Food not gourmet but excellent quality and choice. Superb vegatables.
Anything else?
I realise my experience is from the perspective of someone who is mostly self sufficient and not at deaths door so more dependent patients may have a different opinion. The nurses are so tied up with what they are not allowed to do now and its healthy and safety gone too far, but not their fault.
I had been concerned about not being able to go to my local hospital but it was worth the extra mileage.
Treatment is working.Keep up the good work,it must be difficult when cuts are being threatened.
Thanks
