I have been visiting my GP since christmas about depression and anxiety although recently my symptoms have got worse. This is not actually the problem, upon trying to explain how I feel, and how the problems are worse my GP virtually dimissed this saying I needed to get back in to life. maybe not a problem for a person who feels normal but for me I feel as though when ever I talk to my GP that he Isn't really connecting or hearing what I am actually saying but only imposing a view he had before I walked in to the room. I feel this last visit imparticular has broken the trust we all give health professionals, because I have been trying to relay these problems for 3 visits and I feel he thinks I'm just making it up or putting it on and I can assure anyone reading I have better things to do. surely It would be a better use of the GPs time to actually listen rather than judge, particularly in mental health cases.
"Is anyone listening???"
