Sadly my Mother had a stroke recently & was a patient at The Royal Gloucester Hospital. Visiting her every day was not only depressing but food was left on the floor & her cards had been on the floor for 3 days until I picked them up. One patient was calling for a nurse for some considerable time which I found quite distressing.
As one reaches old age - are people forgotten about & not deserve the care needed to make one better? My Mother was often left in dirty clothes which is not hygenic & in my opinion very soul destroying.
