What could be improved

Consultants secretary humiliated me verbally on two occasions. Referral delayed on two occasions because the secretary was on holiday and because the letter sat on someones desk fo 3 weeks before it was even read. Communication between consultant, secretary and other departments is non existent. Those with chronic illness are left at the bottom of the heap.

Anything else?

I just want my symptoms taken seriously and a diagnosis made, and not be told to wait 8 weeks between each test. Results should be given as soon as it is possible and followed up immediately. I hadn't realised the NHS was so inefficient and so uncaring.
