"I had to wait 35 minutes for eye drops"

I visited Ormskirk Hospital to collect some eye drops from the pharmacy. I had to wait 35 minutes and subsequently missed an appointment I had at the police station.

However, my main concern was the attitude of the staff. There seemed to be a lot of people stood around chatting and ignoring all the people waiting. I said I was only there to pick up some eye drops and was told I would have to wait like everyone else.

There was 3 or 4 people in the pharmacy who were just talking among themselves whilst people waited. I think there needs to be a supervisor on to make sure that the staff got down to working.

I was so annoyed that when I eventually got my prescription I couldn't even say thank you and had taken so long my car had been blocked in so I had to wait a further 10 minutes to get out.

I will ask to get my prescription from a normal pharmacy from now on.
