About: King's Mill Hospital

What could be improved

I do find that in todays world the architects do not take into consideration people who have a fear of heights...Kings Mill hospital is a nightmare for people like me...all glass...no stairs without windows...wards that have windows to the floor...so if I were to suggest improvements it would be to consider all people, with some form of disability before building these all glass buildings...I have my mum in kings mill at the moment and for me to access her is terrifying....please sort something out....there are a lot of us out there...

Thank you for your comments. During the design phase there was a lot of input from patients and staff with regards to how the new building would look and function. We are very sorry that you are finding the new building so challenging and would like to make your visits easier for you if possible. Please call the Patient Advice team to discuss how we may do this. Their telephone number is 01623 672222 and their opening times are 8.30-5.00 monday to friday.
