"I am writing this to tell you ..."

What I liked

I am writing this to tell you what happend to my cousin. Last year he was in the hospital and while there he fell out of bed braking his arm? did he climb over the guard rails or had thay not been fixed?. Now at the of April early May this year he was in the hospital again this time because his wife was having an operation of her own and could not look after him and once again he fell out of his bed but this time he broke his pelvis this was not found for three day's. Now my cousin was 87 year's old we were told that he must have climbed out of bed over the guard rails? I don’t think so. He died leaving a very sad and bitter family behind.

What could be improved

Better monitoring of all the elderly. And making sure all guard rails are fitted at night and at least one member of staff is on duty at all time as once my cousin's wife and son could not find anybody on the ward for quite some time.
