What I liked

I managed to get an appointment on time, and the area appeared clean.

What could be improved

Basic supplies e.g. disposable gloves, basic dressings that we have at home!

I was referred by the weekend cover, of my doctor's surgery, on a Saturday, with a nasty wound that needed to be assessed by a doctor.

The doctor had no dressings to replace the one I was wearing.

The doctor cleaned his hands before putting on an old pair of white, ripped rubber gloves with the little finger missing! I was so stunned that I didn't stop him raising the corner of the dressing to have a look.

Describing this to our friends, they thought we were describing a 3rd. world surgery.
