What I liked

This is the second time that I have stayed at Frimley Park Hospital and I only have positive words to say: consultants, nurses, surgery, organisation, cleanliness, efficiency...everything went very smoothly. The atmosphere in theatre was very reassuring; although the surgery itself was unpleasant and at times painful. I felt that the staff worked as a team with a good relationship. The surgeon explained the proceedure and kept me informed of developments; the nurses (male and female) were very attentive to my stress and pain. After surgery, I can't say that the sandwich was 'cordon bleu' but I was just glad it was all over!

What could be improved

As a diabetic, I was left to my own devices to take my medication and I asked a passing nurse to inject me with my insulin as I couldn't use my hand.
