What I liked
I was a private patient here who had emergency surgery. I left the following day and when it came for me to be discharged I was visited by the pharmacists to give me tablets to take with me for pain relief. I was shown a 'menu' of drugs that I could have and told ' choose whatever you like'. Because nobody had discussed with me anything about what drugs I should take I had to guess what would be appropriate. I chose Tramadol which i'm been taking ever since because of dependancy. I wasn't told that this drug is an opiate and am shocked that nobody had the care to discuss with me what I would suit me and my circumstances.
