"I was treated in the RLI A & ..."

About: Royal Lancaster Infirmary

I was treated in the RLI A & E and Medical assessment Unit, and the experience is not one I would like to repeat.

The staff noted that I was complaining of a broken finger, but did not actually look or treat it for nearly 24 hours. When I subsequently complained about my treatment they lied about events and discussed my notes with a third party without my permission.

Although the hospital have now given a written apology for their actions, it does not change the fact that the attitude of the staff was appalling and that the experience was frightening and painful.
