"Limited parking at the Rotherham District General Hospital"

About: Rotherham Hospital

(as the patient),

I was a patient at the Rotherham District General Hospital in December of last year, situated in wards B1 and A1. I found the standards of medical care and nursing care to be good & I was treated with respect and dignity. However, there was a lack of parking which I deem to be unacceptable & so this should be improved.

Thank you for posting your comments on the site.

We are so pleased that you found the standard of medical care good and were treated with respect and dignity at all times.

We are aware that parking is a premium at the hospital as it is in all hospitals. Over the past 3 years we have increased the number of parking spaces by 360 but we are aware that this continues to be a problem.

We are currently waiting to hear back from the council with regard to a Green Travel Plan we have submitted which we hope will improve the situation.

Thank you.
