"Liked My 3 year old had a 3 cm ..."

What I liked

Liked My 3 year old had a 3 cm hole in his cheek after a fall into a garden step & was admitted for surgery. My son & we, as a family were treated exceptionally well ,reassured, kept informed & generally well looked after during a very difficult & upsetting time. The team performed a miracle on my son's face & he now has a very small & neat line where there was once a gaping hole, I cannot express the enormity of my gratitude for their expertise. We have also received excellent after care/advice on how to reduce the scarring further too :o) I would highly recommend this hospital.

What could be improved

The only thing I can think of is that we were not told about the parents kitchen area, where we could of made ourselves a drink. After spending a horrible evening in Basildon A&E we could of really used a cuppa !!
